Community Involvement Highlights
Every year we see an increase in the need for community support from local businesses. So we made it a top priority to grow our level of involvement in those communities. Notable moments from 2016 included:
- The 8th Annual Steve Ennis Memorial Golf Classic raised over $15,000, bringing our 8-year total to over $100,000!
The 16th Annual Lee Lake Polar Bear Plunge raised almost $29,000 this past February bringing the 16-year total to over $257,000 for cancer research!
- Rhyme celebrated the 12 Days of Christmas by giving back $10,000 to local non-profits. 11 organizations won a $500 Rhyme Gift Card and our grand prize winner took home a free multifunction office copier.
- To date our Rhyme Time Scholarship Foundation has awarded 25 Scholarships to students affected by cancer and we are looking to add more every year.
- Countless other organizations have touched us and we are fortunate for the opportunity we’ve been given to help so many local non-profits in need.
What Happened in 2016
Rhyme acquired Anden Business Solutions of Brookfield, WI in May of 2016. Anden had been in business for over 20 years. The owner, Carl Kunzler retired and Denise Skrzynski came on board to Rhyme and is now a Service Dispatcher for the Milwaukee Region. This acquisition marks Rhyme’s 20th over the past 71 years!
Our growth in 2016 lead to the addition of 11 new people to our team! Every year we are determined to get better at what we do and our people are constantly learning and continuing their education in order to better serve our customers. So this year we are thankful that we were able to keep adding good people to Rhyme.
Rhyme expanded our partnership with Kyocera-Copystar and are proud to now offer our clients another line of A3 Multifunctional Printers and Copiers.
